Steps2Cure NF – Western New York is a lovely walk around the RiverWorks covered rink located on the waterfront of Buffalo, NY on Saturday, May 11th. Registration will begin at 9am and the walk will start at 10am. Participants will be walking laps around the covered rink track, but are encouraged to walk with intention! Try for 17 laps to honor NF1 (the NF1 gene is on the 17th chromosome), 22 laps to honor NF2 (the NF2 gene is on the 22nd chromosome), or choose a number of laps that’s meaningful to you/your group!
DJ Dan will be spinning the soundtrack for the day and is encouraging teams to email apatterson@nfnortheast with their “Team Song”. Our volunteers will be handing out red and blue colored glow sticks as walkers complete their laps! We’re also excited to offer basket raffles, kids activity tables, and an NF Village that hosts all registered team tables in the center of the rink.

*Individuals must be registered by April 5, 2024 to be eligible to receive a t-shirt. Amounts raised are inclusive of your registration fee.
