Neurofibromatosis Northeast (NFNE) is now accepting applications for the 2026 Research Grant Program. Awards of up to $75,000 (inclusive of 10% indirect costs) are available for one-year biomedical research projects relevant to neurofibromatosis. Early-career faculty are especially encouraged to apply.

- July 1, 2026 — Application period opens
- October 13, 2026 — Application deadline
- November 16, 2026 — Award notifications
- December 4, 2026 — Funding begins
Applications must be submitted as a single PDF and must include a cover letter, project proposal (maximum 3 pages), lay summary, budget with justification, curriculum vitae (CV), and conflict of interest disclosure.
