DESCRIPTION:We’re so excited to offer a night of encouragement & empowerment for our NF community kids/teens! Emily Maher\, reporter with WCVB Channel 5\, will run the first Empowerment Through Media workshop geared towards those age 12 and up. \nBeing a kid/teen with NF is challenging! Does your NF kiddo ever feel anxious at school? Have a fear of failure? Or sometimes feel frustrated\, angry\, or defeated? \n\n\n\nJoin NF Northeast & Emily Maher from 6pm-8pm on Friday\, February 9th to learn some tips and tricks of the TV Reporter trade! Ms. Maher will share empowering ideas and strategies she’s learned while working in media for overcoming awkward situations\, facing your fears\, and feeling confident about being YOU! Plus\, receive your own Channel 5 reporter notebook!
